What customers say?

“ Kanazawa's "Irie Curry House" is a curry restaurant that is perfect for spice lovers and muscle training enthusiasts! The chicken curry in particular is high in protein and low in fat, making it perfect for replenishing your nutrients after training. The spicy curry roux is also great for boosting your metabolism, and the ability to change to brown rice is a great point for those in the midst of bodybuilding. The interior is stylish and relaxing, so it's become a routine for me to stop by after the gym. It's important to "enjoy your meal without holding back" even while working out. ”

“ I have business at a nearby hospital every week, and I've always been interested in this curry restaurant. The moment I entered, the restaurant was filled with an exotic atmosphere, and my gloomy mood instantly brightened. (^^) Looking at the menu, I was torn between the many appealing options. I ordered the fried eggplant cheese keema curry. My companion loves okra, so we ordered the okra and pork curry. I had high hopes for this unique curry, as it was even more delicious than I expected! I'm so glad we came! I'll definitely come back, thank you! Additional information: The salad was absolutely delicious. It's a unique dressing based on shio koji. They must have put in a lot of effort, and it pairs perfectly with the vegetables! I can't replicate either the curry or the dressing at home. I'd love to discover another delicious curry again. (^^) ”

“ The first time, I had the fried eggplant and cheese keema curry. They also had a seasonal whitefish roe curry, but I passed it up... Seeing the customers around me enjoying it, I felt a sense of duty to try it next time! (lol) The curry was light and smooth, and went down in one go. Personally, it's the kind of curry I crave even when I don't have much of an appetite. The following week, when I tried to order whitefish roe curry, there was a long line. I waited about 40 minutes, wondering if this was the effect of whitefish roe curry. I was able to get in easily the first time, so perhaps the wait time varies depending on the menu item. The whitefish roe curry I was looking for was mild and delicious! The combination of whitefish roe and keema was innovative, making it a memorable curry. This may be a unique spice curry restaurant that I'll remember and want to visit again. Even though it's spice curry, it's mild in a good way. I'll definitely visit again. ”

“ Opens at 11:00. Cash only. They also offer limited-edition curries made with seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's recommendations are written on a blackboard, and the staff will also make suggestions. The regular menu items are served with cold water, so don't worry, they're not limited to the blackboard menu. On this day, I chose: Midori Cream Cheese Keema (1,380 yen), Fried Egg (80 yen), and Avocado (180 yen, limited-edition menu). Spinach paste and cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious! All curries come with a choice of original sauce or coconut sauce. You can also choose the size of your rice, from small to large, for free. You can also choose the level of spiciness. Spicy is free up to spicy. Extra spicy costs +100 yen. On this day, I went for the original sauce and medium-sized rice for extra spicy! A drink and salad are also included. The salad dressing is shio koji dressing. It's sweet and delicious! ”

“ I've been curious about Irie Curry House for a while. The interior is smaller than I expected, but the exotic and carefully decorated interior creates a relaxing atmosphere. As for the curry itself, I love Kanazawa curries like Chi-n-kare, but the spicy keema curry is also great. The set meal, which includes a salad with a shio-koji dressing and a drink, is a nice touch at 990 yen including tax. Not only can you choose the amount of rice and spiciness, but they also use less oil and are wheat-free so you can always enjoy it. That's very kind of them. Next time, I'd definitely like to try some other menu items. The owner seems to be very particular about his food, and his gentle, modern-looking service may be popular with women. The only downside is that they only accept cash payments ”

“ A health-conscious Jamaican curry restaurant. Parking is available. The restaurant has a front and back room, both with table seating. Prices range from around 1,400 yen and include a salad and a drink. You can choose the size of your brown rice turmeric rice. You can also choose whether or not to add coconut to your curry. The cilantro (180 yen) topping goes incredibly well with the coconut. The brown rice turmeric rice disappears in no time. The soft-boiled fried egg is also delicious. The curry here is different from others—it's not too strong, but has a strong umami flavor. It's a delicious curry that you'll want regularly. The salad dressing is delicious. There's a wide variety of delicious drinks. The mojito Calpis and other cocktail-like drinks are great. The coffee has a nostalgic taste. The iced coffee is the ultimate iced coffee. Payment is cash only. During the COVID-19 period, separate bills were prohibited and small change was required for the consumption tax, which was a hassle, but this has been relaxed. There is Docomo WiFi, although it is weak. ”

“ Delicious curry! I visited at the end of January. The restaurant's appearance makes it seem more like an izakaya or bar, like a curry restaurant? However, once inside, the aroma of curry fills the air, making it clear that it's a curry restaurant. When I visited, it was a little after 1:00 PM, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were extremely busy. I was shown to a counter seat and immediately ordered. Airy can choose the type of curry roux, spiciness, amount of rice, and toppings. I ordered the limited-edition sake kasu and cream cheese curry with original curry sauce, medium spiciness, medium portion, and additional toppings of fried egg and dal. While waiting, I enjoyed the view of the entire restaurant. The light streaming in through the skylight created a very calming atmosphere, and I enjoyed admiring the paintings on the wall. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my curry arrived. First, the curry roux contains sake lees, which are a umami bomb, and the flavor of the curry spreads throughout your mouth. Then the curry hits, but the cream cheese softens that. I also had it with dal and a fried egg. All the toppings matched the curry really well, and I'd like to add more when I come again. This time I tried the limited menu item, but next time I'll try the standard curry. This is a restaurant I'd like to visit again! ”

“ I made a reservation at 11:00 AM, right when they opened, and it was a great decision! Even though it was a Sunday, the restaurant quickly filled up, even with reservations. The interior and atmosphere are reminiscent of a foreign country, making it a fun experience! The curry is coconut-based. I ordered the spicy version, but it was so easy to eat that I thought it might have been better if it was spicier. My friend, who doesn't like spicy food, tried my spicy version and said it was spicy, but delicious! The delicious curry, vegetables, and drink were included, so I was very satisfied with both the flavor and the portion size. They also sell frozen curry at the entrance, and I'd like to try that next time. (I didn't bring a cooler bag this time, so I gave up.) ”
